At the OASA AGM held in Markham November 20 2010, our KWMBSA found itself in the limelight. First, Corey Way of our KW Rep Midget Twins was awarded one of the two OASA Scholarships for 2010. Corey will apply the $1 000 award towards his studies in Concurrent Education at the Waterloo Lauier University's Brantford Campus. Corey was a member of our Midget North Waterloo League's Gold medallist squad, as well as playing with the Walkerton Wild when they won Gold at the Midget Nationals in August. Corey, who has played KW minor ball the past ten summers, has been a valuable volunteer at minor fastball clinics and for hockey and a volunteer in an elementary classroom. The KWMBSA is proud of this Ontario scholar!  Second, the KW Rep Bantam Kolts were recognized by the OASA for their bronze medal achievement at the Eastern Canadians in August.   The Bantam Kolts were one of ten Ontario teams to medal at Canadian or Eastern Canadian championships this summer. These ten teams were recognized at a Meet and Greet celebration held immediately before the AGM.
