  • KSA Volunteer Award Winner Congratulations to Erin McAulay for being nominated as KWMBSA's Kitchener Sports Association volunteer of the year.  She, along with many other great volunteers in our community, were honoured on Tuesday night at their annual banquet.From the program:"Erin has been involved with KWMBSA for more than 14 years. Her first role on the Executive was the Umpire Scheduler which she did for three years. She is currently a Director on the Board, mother of five children who all have been in the Association at one time or another. Her youngest two have just started their journey in the League.   • 2015 House League Winners Congratulations to all players, parents, and coaches for a great season with KMWBSA softball.  The weather for the most part cooperated, and the year end tournaments ran without delays! Wheww!   • 2015 Kolt Rep Team Summaries Midget Kolts:Regular season finish 5th place in NW loop and year end championship finishing 4th. Provincial finish of Finalist in B Division losing 12 -11 to Napanee after losing first game. Great season with lots of development along the way.Bantam Kolts: Not enough players for a league team but with help from another centre we were able to field an OASA team and finished ‎as the Finalist in the Bantam B Provincials.Peewee Kolts: Great results at the OASA Eliminations, just missing out on a trip to a Canadian Championship. KWMBSA offers softball programs for children and youth of all ages and skills in Kitchener-Waterloo 

  • Our House League Division is our largest group with 5 divisions serving ages 4 - 19. The main objective of House League play is to teach the rules of the sport in an atmosphere emphasizing the enjoyment of recreational sport.

*Players in house league receive a team shirt and hat (included in fee). Players require a glove, long pants and running shoes (or rubber cleats).  
Please note that Novice, Mite, Squirt and Peewee players need face guards on their helmets for batting if bringing their own. 

Our Select Division is formed from interested players in our House League division who would like to experience some travel to out of town tournaments. The main focus of Select League play is to give House League players a feel for what the Rep Division has to offer without the commitment to a full season of travel.

  • Our Rep Division is our travel group with 5 divisions serving ages 8 - 18. The main focus of Rep League play is to teach the rules of the sport in an atmosphere emphasizing the competitive component of the sport.

Financial Assistance

The KW Minor Boys Softball Association (KWMBSA) is partnering with the Kitchener Sports Association (KSA) to ensure that all children residing in the Kitchener-Waterloo area are able to participate in organized softball. Please contact the KWMBSA office for details.

KSA Mandate
