  • Opening Weekend/Season Start -2014 Though we've got snow on the ground today, April 15, we are still optimistic that the league will have clearance from the City to get on the fields by the second week of May.  Our plans have had to change, as the fields are still very wet, so we hope to have our Opening Weekend on Saturday May 10th, with activities at Kingsdale (Wilson) Park. League play will then start that week.  Keep tuned, as changes may have to occur, based on 'Mother Nature'.

The Canadian Junior squad will be competing in the ISF World Championships next July in Whitehorse, Yukon. Congratulations and best of luck go out to Johnathon Baker, Brent Eby and  Brendan Hall. These players have been with our organization a number of seasons.  Last summer Jonathon was on the Team Ontario squad that captured gold in Saskatchewan at the ISF U19 World Championships.

  • Batting Cages @ Hillside & Wilson... thanks to many who helped maintain & fix them! The batting cages at Hillside Park in Waterloo needed some maintenance this season.  Thanks to the Baker's- Thomas, Noah, Mikayla and Johnny- for coming out with Bruce Young to get the new gravel base down.  Also, thanks to Coach Greg Gilpin and parent Tim Bjerland for working on the doors and cutting back the shrubs.  Also thanks to President Gilles and his crew for working on the cages at Wilson Park!
