Congratulations to Erin McAulay for being nominated as KWMBSA's Kitchener Sports Association volunteer of the year.  She, along with many other great volunteers in our community, were honoured on Tuesday night at their annual banquet.

From the program:

"Erin has been involved with KWMBSA for more than 14 years. Her first role on the Executive was the Umpire Scheduler which she did for three years. She is currently a Director on the Board, mother of five children who all have been in the Association at one time or another. Her youngest two have just started their journey in the League. Her constant contributions; time and help with Video Dances, Wilson Park concession stand and many tournaments hosted by the Association, continues to serve as a huge help in assuring the Association strive to provide its players, parents, coaches and volunteers the best most enjoyable ball season. Erin is very deserving of this award as a thank you for all her contributions over the years, and, we hope, many more to come."

Mite Kolts -2015 Qualifier Summary from Coach Kristian Halstead

Well I have to say wow!  Our mites showed what they had this weekend!  We played in the B side for the tournament and played 2 great games yesterday. We played Sweaburg and came from behind to win and then won against New \Hamburg!  Then we played Springfield girls in the morning and lost "big time". Next we played Baden for the bronze medal and won. The kids were on fire!  Great pitching, plays and crazy bats!

We then had to meet the Springfield girls yet again. This time we won!  The rain started so we had a bit of a delay and played the "if" game and won the gold for the Kolts!  It was an amazing weekend of ball. I have never seen our players play so well!
